Tea Time Numerical Analysis (Experiences in Mathematics) (second edition), 2016

An errata list is basically a list of errors to help readers with mistakes in a given edition and also help with future revisions. One advantage of a professionally published textbook is that a publisher can afford to pay reviewers to carefully review a textbook and so the finished product is free of many errors that can easily be missed by an author. Open textbooks can suffer from more errors since authors lack the resources to hire a team of reviewers.
If you report an error then this can translate into an extra credit counted towards your course grade. Converting LaTeX to MathML code that can be put on a webpage is possible through LaTeX to MathML converter, the free one I am using can be found at Math to web online, but there are many other free converters.
